five element acupuncture Nature's way of bringing you Health in Harmony
What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a system of complementary medicine involving the insertion of fine needles (acupuncture
needles) into the skin to harness 'Qi' energy (pronounced Chee) considered to be our vital life-force.

The aim being, that stimulation of the body’s own natural healing system will then provide the best conditions
by which well-being can be restored. This can be further enhanced, through alos implementing the philosophy of five element acupuncture (FEA).

Know FEA

Five element acupuncture is a more ancient form of Chinese Medicine based upon observations of the universe (Dao) which is then broken down into the opposites of Yin & Yang and the Five Elements of nature i.e. those of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water and their associated seasons Spring, Summer, Late Summer, Autumn and Winter.

This also takes into account their interactions with each other and the philosophy that we are all
made up of these same building blocks, with universal Qi providing the systems' energy source (see also articles).

So by ensuring the body becomes balanced through the receiving of acupuncture,
an ideal condition is
reached, allowing natural healing to take place.

Late Summer's Yang is vertually spent
Autumnal Yin is ascending
A calmness envelops across the land
After the fever of the short lasting
Right now, a balance exists, similar to Spring
Before the melancholy and Winter sets in
But have no fear, 'cause you know next year
It'll do it all over again without asking...

five element acupuncture aims to restore whatever is presented, no matter how big or small...
